In 1998, First Pack Marketing was founded by our Visionary, Dr. Langton Chikukwa, with a vision to be the world’s biggest and most preferred supplier of ICT and stationery products. Fast forward 25 years, with hard work, dedication, and a clear vision, our company has grown into what it is today, offering a wide range of stationery and ICT products across Zimbabwe.

Our first office was at Catherine Court, where we laid the foundation for our success. We worked tirelessly to build a reputation for excellence and to establish ourselves as a trusted brand.

In 2005, First Pack Marketing opened its first retail branch at Beverly Court building in the CBD of Harare, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth. The first product sold was bond paper, and the company quickly specialized in IT consumables. In 2006, First Pack Marketing moved to the Samora branch, along the busiest roads in the CBD of Harare, and expanded into selling ICT and stationery products. This move proved to be a game-changer, as the company was able to offer a broader range of products and services to its customers. In 2010, First Pack opened its first outside Harare branch in Kwekwe, further expanding its reach and serving more customers in other cities like Masvingo, Gweru, Bulawayo, Mutoko, and Mutare.

Over the years, we have faced many challenges but have always remained committed to our core values of integrity, innovation, and customer satisfaction. Today, we are proud to say that our company has become a household name in the industry.

2011 marked the beginning of a trajectory of growth for First Pack Marketing. The company moved to its current head office at First Pack Business Park in Hatfield, Harare, allowing more space and resources to be dedicated to the business.

Over the years, First Pack Marketing has diversified its product offerings, offering a wide range of scholastic and office stationery, office and scholastic furniture, sports equipment, textbooks, printers, laptops, and desktops. Today, First Pack Marketing is offering a one-stop shop for ICT and stationery products nationwide.

 

In 2014, First Pack Marketing gave birth to First Pack Services, creating a “One Stop Shop” for Computer Repairs, Services and Maintenance, and Enterprise ICT Solutions, both for warranty and out-of-warranty repairs. Services offered include computer repairs and maintenance, warranty and service Centre for HP, Epson, Olivetti products, networking, and sales of computer accessories.

 

In 2020, First Pack Marketing made a significant stride in the retail industry by opening its first self-service supermarket for stationery and ICT in Hatfield. This move marked a significant shift in how people shop for their office and school supplies.

 

The supermarket offers a home of variety, where customers can find all their stationery and ICT needs under one roof. First Pack has everything from pens, pencils, notebooks, laptops, printers, and other tech gadgets.

 

One of the most notable features of the supermarket is the ample free parking available to customers. This makes it easy for shoppers to park their cars and shop at their convenience without worrying about parking fees or finding a parking spot.

 

Another advantage of shopping at First Pack’s self-service supermarket is the product variety. Customers have access to a wide range of products, making it easy to find everything they need in one place. This saves time and effort, making shopping a breeze.

 

Today, First Pack has a staff complement of over 300 members dedicated to providing customers with the best possible service. As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we thank our loyal customers, dedicated employees, and supportive partners. Without you, none of this would have been possible.
